Biography of Nigel Barkway

Nigel had a 34 year banking career with RBS / NatWest prior to joining Howard Hackney LLP as an associate in 2009.

Qualifying professionally (ACIB) in 1981 was London based prior to relocating to the North West in 1992, working since then with SME clients.

Was latterly Commercial Banking Director for Warrington having previously undertaken the same role across Chester and North Wales whilst concurrently establishing and directing the bank's UK Holiday and Home Parks Team. Earlier leadership roles also featured in Liverpool, Bolton, Wigan, Oldham, and Blackburn.

In 2009 Nigel completed terms as a director of the Warrington Chamber of Commerce, as a director of the regeneration focussed Warrington 2000+, and as a member of the feedback panel to the Bank of England's Agent for the North West.

Howard and Nigel have known each other and worked together since the mid 1990s initially in the interests of mutual clients and now as direct associates.
